Last night Kula and I completed our third obedience lesson and I can't believe how well she did. We had had just about no practice during the week because I had a show with Shadow so spent all my time concentrating on grooming and preparing to go away last week. So I had thought that Kula and I would be a bit of an embarrassment last night at practice, but Kula did really well. She has just begun to pick up the left turn, her stays are quite good and she is beginning to get the idea of being close. We need to work on the heal work and I seriously need to learn left from right. Someone made a suggestion last night that I paint an "L" and "R" on my shoes! Probably not such a silly idea... |
