Shadow is in her fifth week of pregnancy and is looking really well. Unlike Kula, she has not gone off her food and although maybe a little quieter than usual, she is behaving pretty much as normal. The weather is so hot at the moment that I am taking them to a lovely walk by a stream every day and the dogs all swim in various holes up the stream. If I do the full walk, it takes 55 minutes each way up to the Korokoro Dam and is absolutely lovely, with the tinkle of the stream and the tweeting of lots of fantails. A lovely walk to lose yourself in your thoughts. Attached is a photo of Shadow sunning herself on the deck today and also some photos of the walk up the stream. |
